Attorney Amelia Henderson is featured in a profile article for the Attorney At Law magazine where she discussed her tenure and accomplishments as president of the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association (JWLA).
The article discusses how JWLA achieves its mission to actively promote gender equality and the leadership roles of its members in the legal profession, judiciary and the community at large.
The organization?s hope is to see more women in leadership of law firms, in high government offices, as judges at all levels, on the Fourth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission and serving on City Council.
JWLA aims to help women meet the rigorous requirements for board certification, with the help and assistance of the Jacksonville chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Jacksonville Justice Association.
JWLA was founded in 1982 to provide support and networking for women lawyers in Jacksonville, Florida.
