Attorney Designated as Certified E-Discovery Specialist

Attorney Leanne Prendergast has earned the designation of a Certified E-Discovery Specialist, CEDS, after passing the examination offered by the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS).

She is the second attorney within the firm to earn this designation. R. Christopher Dix earned his CEDS designation in 2013 and now serves as the president of the ACEDS chapter in Jacksonville.

ACEDS is a worldwide membership organization comprised of attorneys, IT professionals, accountants, software companies and other professionals that work in the field of electronic discovery in complex litigation.

The CEDS certification shows that designees are competent and knowledgeable about efficiency, cost-effectiveness and risk reduction in all phases of electronic discovery.

Prendergast is a shareholder at the firm and practices commercial and insolvency litigation in both state and federal courts. She is a member of The Florida Bar, Jacksonville Bar Association, Jacksonville Bankruptcy Bar Association and the International Women?s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation.
