Attorney Jeanne Helton was recognized by the Jacksonville Business Journal for being a 2016 Health Care Hero in the area of advocacy.
The award recognizes individuals in Northeast Florida who have positively impacted the community’s healthcare industry through their career and volunteer services.
Helton was awarded for her dedication to advocating for others through her work at Smith Hulsey & Busey, as well as outside of the office. As a two-time breast cancer survivor, she understands the challenges facing individuals battling life-threatening disease and works diligently to provide legal advocacy training and resources for lawyers and individuals fighting cancer.
Helton was honored at an awards ceremony on November 17.
