Kayla is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on business and complex commercial litigation, including business torts, employment disputes, probate litigation, and other business disputes.
Kayla graduated summa cum laude from Florida Coastal School of Law where she received 11 book awards and served on Law Review as a staff editor. She received her certification in Business Law and was given the Pro Bono Honors Award, having logged more than 200 pro bono hours during her tenure. Kayla served as a judicial extern for United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida Judge Harvey E. Schlesinger.
While in law school, Kayla simultaneously received her master’s degree in Business Administration from Jacksonville University, where she was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma.
Kayla serves on the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association’s Board as Membership Director for the 2018-2019 year. She also serves on the board for the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section.
