Five firm attorneys recently staffed Jacksonville Area Legal Aid?s free monthly clinic. They helped more than 10 indigent clients with probate issues, will preparation and advance directives assistance.
The mission of Jacksonville Area Legal Aid (JALA) is to assist low-income community residents with civil legal problems by providing high-quality legal representation in many practice areas.
The involvement of pro bono attorneys at JALA is a critical resource, significantly helping to close the justice gap, and ensure that legal representation is available to all regardless of ability to pay, especially in areas of practice which JALA?s limited funding cannot reach.
