Smith Hulsey & Busey attorney Chris Dix will serve as the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Chair of the Legal Technology Committee for 2018-2019.
The Jacksonville Bar Association’s Legal Technology Committee is a resource to members for technology needs both in the courtroom and in their law office. The committee hosts technology Continuing Legal Education events assisting members to fulfill their required three hours of technology Continuing Legal Education.
Dix recently spoke on “The Impact of Cyber Threats on You and Your Business” at an event sponsored by Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
He is a technology-focused attorney and CPA with experience litigating business disputes, healthcare regulatory matters, electronic discovery, bankruptcy and sports corruption arbitrations.
Dix regularly speaks and advises clients regarding cybersecurity, data breaches (including HIPAA security and privacy issues), social media and other forms of electronic evidence.
