G. Preston Keyes
Retired
For nearly 40 years, Preston represented clients in a variety of complex commercial real estate matters. The breadth of his practice included sales, acquisitions, leases, development, utilities, financing and loan restructuring. He regularly counseled healthcare clients across the region on major land acquisitions and development projects, including sites for hospitals, medical office buildings and ambulatory centers.
Preston’s experience also included two decades representing an international convenience store chain in land acquisition, development, and lease negotiations, as well as counseling major lenders and national banks on various workout agreements. While his practice in later years focused primarily on representing purchasers, his experience on both sides of real estate transactions provided valuable perspective in advising clients.
Throughout his career, Preston placed a priority on listening to his clients, asking the right questions and understanding their goals in detail. He was known for his diligence and thorough approach to finding practical solutions for clients.
