Four lawyers within the firm have been honored by Florida Trend magazine as Florida’s 2013 “Legal Elite.” The Florida Legal Elite recognizes the top attorneys practicing in the state as chosen by their colleagues.
The Smith Hulsey & Busey attorneys recognized on the 2013 Legal Elite list include: Stephen D. Busey – Commercial Litigation, David J. Hull – Tax, Stephen D. Moore, Jr. – Business Law and E. Lanny Russell – Commercial Litigation.
Stephen D. Busey, the chairman of the firm, is also recognized in Florida Trend’s Legal Elite Hall of Fame that recognizes attorneys who have been consistently ranked in the top tier in Legal Elite over the past nine years.
The listing is determined through votes by members of The Florida Bar and is featured in the July special report in the statewide business magazine. Lawyers were asked to name attorneys they hold in the highest regard or would recommend to others. According to Florida Trend, the 2013 lists represent an elite two percent of lawyers who practice in Florida.
