Kayla Haines, Kevin P. Blodgett and Brandon Cook have accepted offers to join Smith Hulsey & Busey’s litigation department.
Before joining Smith Hulsey, Haines served as business and commercial litigation associate for Jacksonville law firm Jimerson & Cobb, P.A. She also served as a judicial intern for Judge Harvey E. Schlesinger of the United States District Court in Jacksonville.
Florida Super Lawyers recognized Haines in 2018 for being a “Rising Star.” She is a member of the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association and the Young Lawyers Section of the Jacksonville Bar Association.
Blodgett most recently served as counsel at Carr, Allison, Oliver & Sisson in Tallahassee, Fla., where he represented clients in business disputes throughout Florida.
Cook graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law where he served as president of the Florida Court Moot Team. He previously served as a summer associate at the firm.
