Smith Hulsey & Busey has named Kateena E. Manners, Whitney K. McGuire and Thomas G. Wilson, III as shareholders at the Jacksonville law firm.
Manners has worked in the firm’s Corporate, Securities and Business Law, Tax, and Trusts and Estates practice areas since 2006. Her areas of concentration include federal and state taxation, exempt organizations, estates and trusts and estate planning. She earned a master’s degree in tax, Juris Doctor degree and bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida.
McGuire has practiced in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Environmental areas since 2010. Her work includes disputes involving accounting and engineering professional negligence, environmental litigation, patents, contracts and business torts. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Washington University School of Law and received her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Wilson has worked in the firm’s Real Estate and Land Use practice area since 2006. His work includes real estate sales, purchases, leases, development, construction, financing and loan workouts and restricting. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida and received his bachelor’s degree from Emory University.
