Smith Hulsey & Busey has selected two law school students, Aaron N. Badida and James W. Edgar, to join the firm as summer associates. Each candidate expects to graduate with a Juris Doctor degree in May 2019.
The firm offers qualified second year law students the opportunity to be summer associates to learn about the firm?s practice and gain experience working within a law firm.
Aaron Badida received an undergraduate degree in English and Business Administration, summa cum laude, from the University of North Florida. He is earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida?s College of Law. He is a member of the Florida Law Review, Student Bar Association Executive Board, 8th Judicial Circuit Bar Association and Adkins Inn of Court.
James Edgar received an undergraduate degree in Pubic Administration from Flagler College. He is currently earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida’s College of Law. His prior experience includes working as a legal extern with the University of Florida Board of Trustees Self-Insurance program and as a lieutenant with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.
