Four Smith Hulsey & Busey attorneys staffed the estate planning intake night hosted by Jacksonville Area Legal Aid (JALA) on September 10. Shareholders Patrick Coll and Amelia Henderson , along with associates Kayla Haines and Thomas Heekin , volunteered at the monthly event, interviewing applicants and advising them on probate issues, will creation and advance directives.
JALA is a non-profit organization that provides high quality legal assistance to low-income residents and special needs groups in the Jacksonville area. Smith Hulsey & Busey attorneys help fill a gap in JALA’s legal services by serving at this event annually and taking on pro bono estate planning cases.
