Attorney Selected to Serve as Vice Chair of Jacksonville Bar Association Committee

Attorney Ashgar Syed was selected by the Jacksonville Bar Association to serve as the Vice Chair of the Commercial Litigation committee. Syed and his committee are in the process of developing Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programing and social events for the 2016-2017 year. The committee is one of nine committees under the litigation section of the association.

The Jacksonville Bar Association was established in 1897 and provides members with continuing legal education seminars and lawyers referral services. The basic mission of The Jacksonville Bar Association remains to enhance the administration of law as well as the professional and social lives of its members.

Syed practices in the area of complex commercial litigation. His experience includes litigation of disputes involving contracts, real property, fraudulent transfers and corporate council. He is a member of The Florida Bar, Jacksonville Bar Association, American Bar Association, and an associate of The Chester Bedell Inn of Court.
