Smith Hulsey & Busey shareholder Earl E. Googe Jr. will discuss legislative developments affecting healthcare providers at the Florida Society for Healthcare Risk Management & Patient Safety’s Annual Conference in Fort Lauderdale on August 28th .
The two-day conference gathers healthcare risk management and patient safety professionals for educational sessions covering legal and regulatory issues, patient safety, claims and litigation, healthcare operations and other industry topics.
Googe is a member of SHB’s Healthcare and Litigation Practice Groups and has more than 30 years of experience representing healthcare providers. He advises clients on regulatory matters involving licensing, technology and insurance, and represents healthcare institutions before regulatory agencies, licensing boards and peer review panels.
As chair of the FSHRMPS Advocacy Committee, Googe helps monitor and support regulatory and legislative actions affecting healthcare across the state.
