Smith Hulsey & Busey is proud to welcome law students Dennis J. Anderson and William W. Templin as its 2024 class of summer associates.
Dennis J. Anderson is a rising 2L student at Washington and Lee University’s School of Law, where he is a member of the Federalist Society and the First Generation Student Union. Dennis received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Humanities from Florida State University in 2016.
William W. Templin is a rising 3L student at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Law, serving as a staff editor of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review. He is a member of the Allegheny County Pardon Project, an advocacy group that helps Pennsylvania residents clear their non-violent criminal record histories. He is also the business manager for the University of Pittsburgh’s Incarcerated Persons Legal Support Project, which assists incarcerated individuals with legal research. In 2023, William was a judicial intern for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Florida in 2021.
“We are pleased to have Dennis and William join us for the summer,” said Steve Busey, chairman of the firm. “We value our summer associates and the fresh perspectives they bring to the firm. Dennis and William will gain knowledge and experience this summer that will further their legal careers.”
