Smith Hulsey & Busey shareholder Allan E. Wulbern served as a panelist at the Jacksonville Bankruptcy Bar Association’s (JBBA) 32nd Annual Bankruptcy Seminar on Friday, Aug. 14, at the Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Spa in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Wulbern appeared on the day’s first panel, “State Law and Bankruptcy Overlap,” joined by Michael C. Markham and the Honorable Mark F. Robens. The full-day program also included a recent case updates session presented by 11 bankruptcy judges, an afternoon panel on options for liquidating entities and breakout tracks on consumer and commercial hot topics.
At Smith Hulsey & Busey, Allan practices in the areas of Litigation and Bankruptcy. He is a trial attorney with more than 25 years of experience handling commercial litigation and insolvency matters, and he has represented debtors, creditors, Chapter 7 trustees and state court receivers in insolvency actions.
The firm was an Emerald Sponsor of this year’s seminar, and its attorneys hold leadership positions within the association. Allan serves on the JBBA board, and associate Carli J. Seroka-Frederick was elected in June to serve as vice president for the 2026-27 year.
