Smith Hulsey & Busey shareholder Kevin Blodgett has been selected by the Jacksonville Business Journal for its 2021 “40 Under 40” list. He will be recognized at a virtual award’s ceremony on May 19.
The honorees were picked from a record number of nominees in consultation with a range of Jacksonville’s business leaders. The 2021 class was selected based upon business success, leadership skills and involvement in shaping the community.
Blodgett was a critical member of the firm’s team that prepared the high-profile Report of the Special Investigatory Committee on JEA Matters released earlier this year by the Jacksonville City Council. He was named a shareholder in the firm in January.
Since becoming a member of The Florida Bar in 2014, Blodgett has established himself as a go-to litigation attorney both clients and colleagues can depend upon for high-stakes, high-profile matters. He represents companies and individuals in civil and commercial litigation throughout the southeastern United States, with a focus on business disputes, creditor’s rights and environmental law.
