Smith Hulsey & Busey is proud to welcome Angela Cottrell as a shareholder and Abigail Schwartz as an associate attorney in the firm.
Cottrell is a corporate transactions attorney with 25 years of experience representing clients in healthcare matters, financing transactions and complex mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Smith Hulsey & Busey, Cottrell was a partner at a global Am Law 100 firm in Raleigh, North Carolina. Throughout her career, she has counseled a diverse spectrum of clients in financing transactions, healthcare regulatory matters, joint ventures, commercial contracts, clinical trials, corporate governance and more.
Schwartz is the newest member of the firm’s Litigation and Healthcare Law & Medical Malpractice Defense practices. Prior to joining Smith Hulsey & Busey, Schwartz gained legal experience clerking at law firms in Florida and Tennessee that focus on full-service litigation of complex business and personal injury matters.
